Mr. Bright is the maestro of an illegal, life-or-death cross-country road race. Think 'Fight Club' on wheels...

Though the role for Mr. Bright was eventually awarded to Charles Martin Smith, the unaired pilot is a thing of beauty.

Ivan Sergei, Nick's costar from Once A Thief, was also in the pilot although Nathan Fillion won that role in the shortlived tv series.
